这首《Travelin' Soldier》选自美国乐坛最受欢迎的乡村音乐组合之一德州女子三人组合「Dixie Chicks」2002年发行的专辑《Home》。「Dixie Chicks」乐队的成员包括班卓琴手「Emily Erwin」 、小提琴手「Martie Seidel」两姊妹和主唱「Natalie Maines」。以诗化的口语形式讲述了一个带有美国60年代色彩的动人、发人深省的伤感故事。《Ｔｒａｖｅｌｉｎ＇　Ｓｏｌｄｉｅｒ》则是一首有关别离的歌曲，讲述了一个男人离开自己所爱的女孩前往战场的故事，斑卓琴变作了低泣的工具，而每一个听懂这首歌的听众也会为了这个凄凉的故事落下眼泪。
